Hey there awesome folks of the Sisseton area, thank you so much for Keeping It Local & Shopping Local this holiday season!!!The drawings for the Sisseton Area Chamber of Commerce's Holiday Shop was last night at KaCo's Little Shop. There were 20 prizes given away to some lucky folks including $150 in Chamber Cheques and a wide assortment of awesome prizes donated by the generous participating businesses. All winners have been contacted, but if you see a name you recognize, congratulate them and make sure they go say hi to Courtney at KaCo's Little Shop right downtown Sisseton, and pickup their prize. The Sisseton Area Chamber of Commerce and a few community organizations have been contacted to relay information about the SBA (Small Business Administration) Disaster Recovery Program to help those businesses, organizations, and community members affected by the flooding our town and surrounding area endured this summer.
A representative from the SBA Disaster Recovery will be providing an informational meeting at City Hall Community Room on Wednesday, December 3rd from 10:30am – 12pm. There will be a short presentation at 10:30 followed by Q & A and people are welcome to come anytime during that time frame to ask questions about available funding. Hot coffee, water and snacks will be provided.

The Sisseton Area Chamber of Commerce's Annual Chili Cookoff is back again at Family Life Assembly of God Church on Friday, October 24th from 5-8pm! Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for kids 12 and under with $1 off your admission if you bring in a stuffed animal or blanket for the local first responders thanks to Tri State Water's 3rd Annual Toy Drive! There will be judges' & peoples' choice awards for best chili & decorated booth, raffle baskets to win and much more!!!
